Cultures of innovation: Past, Present and Future

The three part webinar series explores the past, the present and the future of the cultures of innovation with leading experts and policy makers from Switzerland, China, India, Japan and Singapore.

The first webinar provided historical perspectives on the adoption of technology in Switzerland, China and India. Experts detailed the role played by public and private entities in supporting the rise of innovation culture in their respective countries. In the second webinar, experts from Switzerland, Singapore and India talked about the importance given by governments of their respective countries to promoting science, technology and innovation through relevant policies, strengthening of the academia-industry connect and R&D investments. The final webinar in the series highlighted the importance of transferring the results of fundamental research to industry to create new products and processes, with examples from Switzerland, Japan and India.
